Earlier signatures do not carry over to this filing period. To count this time, you must sign again between May 4 and July 1, 2026.
HOW to sign
At this time, there is not a single fixed signing schedule. Most signatures will be gathered by volunteers going door to door throughout the district. Volunteers may also be present in high-traffic public areas at various times.
If you would like to sign, there are 3 main ways to do so.
1. Sign when a volunteer comes to your door
Many signatures will be gathered door to door by volunteers throughout the district.
2. Sign when you see volunteers in the community
Volunteers may also be seen gathering signatures in visible, public, high-traffic areas throughout the district.

WHO can sign?
If you are a registered voter who lives in the Bridgeport-Spaulding Community Schools district, you are eligible to sign the recall petitions.
BRIDGEPORT & SPAULDING VOTERS: All voting precincts are a part of the school district. Every registered voter in Bridgeport & Spaulding township is eligible to sign the petitions.
BUENA VISTA VOTERS: You are only eligible to sign a petition if you live in and are registered to vote in Buena Vista Precinct #3. Please click on the map below if you’re unsure which precinct you live in.
